Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients - Born in 1966 in the Netherlands - Currently living in the Netherlands - Diagnosis of MS (according to McDonald criteria, revised by Polman 2010) Controls - Born in between 1965 and 1967 in the Netherlands - Currently living in the Netherlands - No history of MS

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients - None Controls - Comorbidity that interferes with participation in this study

Clinical outcome (disease course), consisting of age of onset, disease duration, affected parts of the CNS, previous and current MS subtype, recovery from relapses, disability scores and speed of developing disability	—
