Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Patients who have been reffered to Eleos in the period April 2021 - june 2022. - Patients referred by the general practitioner with the suspicion of a depressive mood disorder. - Patients who are Christians, as evidenced by membership in a church congregation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Evident crisis sensitivity and suicidality - Patients referred by the general practitioner with a suspicion of comorbid psychotic disorders - Patients referred by the general practitioner with a suspicion of co-morbid personality disorders - Patients who have been referred from another mental health treatment centre or the Basis GGZ.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The main study parameter is the change on depressive symptoms as measured with the BDI-II.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary parameters are changes on acceptance and valued based living as measured with the AAQ-II (Acceptance and Action Questionaire) and the ELS (Engaged Living Scale).
