Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Colonresection (left hemicolectomy, right hemicolectomy, extended version, transversumresection, sigmoidresection, segmentectomy, hartmann procedure) - Hysterectomy (total laparoscopic hysterectomy or abdominal uterus extirpation) - 18 - 75 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: In general: - Concomitant health problems affecting daily activities - Combination of surgery with other surgical procedures - Severe comorbidity which might complicate the postoperative course - Patient who are unable to understand the information belonging the research - Insufficient understanding or ability to fill in (Dutch) questionnaires Colonresection group: - Surgery without a curative intention - Neoadjuvant treatment - Colectomy because of crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis Hysterectomy group: - Deep infiltrating endometriosis - Malignancies
