Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age = 18 years old with an indication for a primary total elbow prosthesis Ability to participate during the entire follow up schedule

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Total elbow prosthesis surgery in the past (at the ipsilateral side) Previous elbow surgery that influences the function of the triceps muscle Other upper extremity injuries to the ipsilateral limb that would compromise postoperative rehabilitation Inability to follow post-rehabilitation (due to head injury, dementia, mental illness etc.)
