Interventions

Biopsies from patients will be mounted in ussing chambers to measure the short circuit current and differential potential. We are not treating patients but we are asking them for 2 extra biopsies when

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Constipation as defined by the the ROME III criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Gastrointestinal surgery; 2. Metablic disease; 3. IBD (Crohn's disease, CU); 4. Genetic syndromes (Down's disease); 5. Colonic cancer.
