Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Age of 18 years and older; • All patients undergoing surgery for NELM; • Patients eligible for ICG infusion 24h prior to surgery according to the hospital protocol.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Allergy to ICG, iodide or sodium iodide; • Hyperthyroidism or benign thyroid tumour; • Thyroid examination using radioactive iodide <1 week; • Breast-feeding; • No informed consent.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To determine the radical resection rate.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- Percentage of additional malignant lesions identified with NIRF; - Additional (micro-)metastases found by FA; - Perioperative parameters (blood loss, operation time, hospital stay); - Long-term oncological outcomes (overall survival, disease free survival).
