Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. More then 6 weeks radicular pain (with or without lower back pain); 2. Male/ female; 3. Ages between 18 and 60 years; 4. First back surgery at that spinal level; 5. MRI confirmation/ correlation .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Recurrent disc herniation after earlier discectomy; 2. Anti-inflammatory/immune treatment NSAID treatment < 5 days before surgery; 3. Autoimmune diseases; 4. Rheumatic diseases.
