Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Sekse: man; 2. Leeftijd: 55+; 3. BMI tussen de 20 en 33. 1. Male; 2. Age 55+; 3. BMI between 20 & 33.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Een kwaadaardige ziekte in het verleden; 2. Een hypofyse of hypothalamische ziekte in het verleden; 3. Een centrale neurologische ziekte/stoornis in het verleden, inclusief cerebrovasculair infarct, Parkinson, Alzheimer en multiple sclerose; 4. Een actieve of recente ( 4 U/dag; 9. Gebruik van drugs (cannabis, cocaïne, amfetamine enz.); 10. Gebruik van medicatie welke de cognitie kunnen beïnvloeden (zoals benzodiazepines, antidepressiva, anti-epileptica). 1. Any history of malignant disease; 2. Any history of pituitary or hypothalamic disease; 3. Any history of other central neurological disorders, including cerebrovascular infarctions, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease; 4. Any active or recent ( 4 U/day; 9. Use of drugs (cannabis, cocaine, amphetamines etc.); 10. Use of medication that might affect cognitive function (e.g. benzodiazepines, antidepressants, antiepileptics, etc.).

Primaire onderzoeksvariabelen/uitkomstmaten: 1. GH levels; GH piek; 2. IGF-I; 3. Neuropsychologische/cognitieve tests; 4. EEG (ERPs). The correlation between GH and cognitive functioning, and related brain physiology in healthy subjects.
