Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Recurrent laryngeal or hypopharyngeal carcinoma after radiotherapy with or without chemotherapy and scheduled for a salvage total laryngectomy. Over the age of 18. Given informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contraindication for MRI at 3T and/or CT contrast administration. Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus.
