Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients: All patients eligible for (geriatric) rehabilitation aged 70 years and older with a unilateral proximal femur fracture admitted to HMC Bronovo hospital for a hip fracture. informal caregivers: Insufficient mastery of the Dutch language, unable to provide informed consent, unwilling to provide informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients:· Aged <70 years,pre-fracture residence in a nursing home,pathological hip fractures,unwilling to provide informed consent,uable to provide informed consent,insufficient mastery of the Dutch language,previous participation in this study caregivers:Insufficient mastery of the Dutch language,unable to provide informed consent,unwilling to provide informed consent
