Interventions

We will take a cold cut biopsy from the bladder mucosa in patients who undergo a planned cystoscopy. The tissue from patients with overactive bladder will be compared to that from normal patients with

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Any patiënt that has a normal or an overactive bladder, wether it is neurogenic or idiopathic, and who undergoes a planned cystoscopy, can enter the trial.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of disease of the urinary tract (OAB not included).
