P=personal (face to face) advice on safety rules concerning rolling scaffolds, ladders and stairs.

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion of worksites of painting companies working with rolling scaffolds, ladders and stairs in 27 large cities in the Netherlands

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Non-painting construction companies working on rolling scaffolds, ladders and stairs

Number of safety violations compared to the number of observed construction locations; primary outcome measure at worksite level in two intervention arms and one control arm.

Reach (recruitment rate), provided interventions (dose delivered), received interventions (dose received), satisfaction, perceived effectiveness, costs; outcomes related to the two interventions in IC and IP arms
