An additional tube of blood is collected during a standard blood test together with clinical information relevant for the study.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All traumatic and pathological spinal cord injury patients can be included in this study (> 18 years both male and female).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria of this study is the presence of pre-existing autoimmune disorders.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome of this study is to identify a panel of candidate biomarkers in spinal cord injury pathology.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcome of this study is to characterize the identified candidate biomarkers for their relevance in spinal cord injury pathology.
