- Dorsal digital block (control) versus volarblock (intervention)

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients, age ¡Ý 18 years, who present on the ER of the St. Elisabeth-Tweesteden Hospital or Jeroen Bosch Hospital with an injury of finger which requires regional anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Injuries on the dorsal side of the proximal phalanx - Distracting injury - Preexistent sensory disturbances or dysthropy - Treatment on the ER is not possible due to the size or complexity of the injury - Patient is not capable of specify a valid painscore, because of cognitive impairment or intoxication - Patient with injury on two adjacant fingers - Language barrier or other impossibility to obtain informed consent
