Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients for which there is a medical indication for renal replacement therapy within 1 to 2 years (25 MDRD ml/min taking into account the rate of progression); 2. Patients > 18 years; 3. Family and friends of the patient > 18 years of age.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients or family/friends who are unable to read or speak the Dutch language sufficiently.
