Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| We aim to employ an "omics"-driven systems biology approach on patients with ocular inflammation in order to identify the molecular pathways underlying the pathogenesis of ocular and orbital inflammation and develop clinically usefull markers to predict disease outcome and treatment responses (eg biomarkers). For this we study multiple layers of the immune system (genome, epigenome, proteome, metabolome and cellsubsets). | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To identify new therapeutical targets for potential use in future clinical studies by evaluation of novel biomarkers in functional models | — |
