Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults scheduled for pacemaker of ICD implantation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Mental disability Acute myocardial infarction <30 days before implantation Congenital heart defects

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The value of high-sensitive troponin T after pacemaker or ICD implantation. The study endpoint is reached after a follow-up period of 6 months unless an acute myocardial infarction occurs before that moment

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Patient and procedural characteristics that might influence the outcome of the main study parameter
