Anterior cruciate ligament rupture

Interventions

Intervention group will contain patients treated by our treatment algorithm. This will be a shared decision between surgeon and patient. Control group will contain patients treated by normal practice.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 18 years or older, complete primary ACL rupture (MRI + physical examination confirmed) and willing to participate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Multi ligament trauma and insufficient command of the dutch language
