Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Leeftijd (=18 jaar) - Indicatie voor (extra) IV-toegang aanwezig - Mislukte poging tot IV-toegang met behulp van standaard techniek op de spoedeisende hulp of infuus plaatsing zonder echo wordt niet mogelijk geacht door twee verpleegkundigen op basis van lichamelijk onderzoek.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Directe echogeleid infuus geprikt op verzoek van de patiënt - Geen informed consent verkregen
