Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. ≥40 years of age 2. First visit to the outpatient pulmonary clinic after referral from the general practitioner for further diagnosis or treatment of COPD and / or asthma 3. Presence of the written or digital referral from the general practitioner 4.Presence of a pulmonary function test performed at the Meander Medical Center 5. documented presence of the diagnosis given by pulmonologist or physician assistant in the Meander Medical Center
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. <40 years of age 2. active lung malignancy 3. Pleurecomtie and / or lobectomy in the medical history 4. Combination of COPD with other syndromes that have a negative influence on the outcome of the pulmonary function tests (including but not limited to: heart failure, combined pulmonary fibrosis and emphysema and sarcoidosis of the lungs), with the exception of the combination COPD and asthma
