Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adolescents who have active consent of their parents and attend the last three years of primary school or the first three years of secondary school.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Adolescents in classrooms with a participation rate lower than 60%, will be excluded from the study. This is the threshold is based on the internal reliability of peer nomination measures (Marks, Babcock, Cillessen, & Crick, 2013). Incomplete days of physical activity data will be excluded from the analyses. The data should at least have 1435 of recorded minutes of data. Additionally, the Fitbit measure should at least count 1000 steps on a day to ensure that the devices has been worn.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Physical activity (steps per day and minutes MVPA per day), measured by accelerometer (Fitbit Flex). In addition, a physical activity questionnaire (ObiN) will be added in case of malfunction of the Fitbit.
