Systematic literature review using MEDLINE, the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, and EMBASE. Additional studies will be identified by review

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Studies involving patients undergoing primary total knee replacement; 2. RCTs or cohort studies including a minimum of 10 patients; 3. Studies relating the prevalence of anterior knee pain with one or more variables; 4. English-language studies.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Case reports; 2. RCTs or cohort studies with incompletely described patient populations, less than 10 included patients, and insufficient descriptions of treatment.
