Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Non-smoking patients; 2. American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status class 1 to 3 scheduled for a surgical procedure that would last at least ninety minutes.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Younger than 18 years of age; 2. Suffering from terminal renal failure.
