Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Admission in the geriatric ward in Jeroen Bosch Hospital between August 1st, 2014 and April 30th, 2017. This start date was chosen because since then magnesium was included in the regular laboratory examination. - Magnesium serum levels determined in venous blood must be known. - Medication prescribed before and during admission must be known.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Age below 65 years. - Patients with re-admissions, since all patients are included once in this research.
