Interventions

3. A 10-min ramp decrease in oxygen concentration at three end-tidal CO2 levels (total duration 30 min). Continuous measurements will be: oxygen saturation, ventilation (on a breath-to-breath basis)

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy volunteers 18-45 years of age

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Obesity (BMI > 30) 2. Presence of medical disease: heart-, lung-, liver-, kidney- and lung disease; diabetes 3. Presence of psychiatric disease 4. History of chronic alcohol or drug use 5. Possibility of pregnancy 6. Lactation
