Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing gastrointestinal (esophagus, stomach, intestine, liver, pancreas) or bladder oncological surgery at the University Medical Centre Utrecht (UMC Utrecht) in the Netherlands

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded from participation if they had a life expectancy less than three months, if the patient was not able to fill in or sign the informed consent form due to cognitive problems or if the patient was completely dependent on a wheelchair.
