Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: 1. Informed consent; 2. Age above 18 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: 1. Expected problems by inserting epidural catheter; 2. No fluency in Dutch language; 3. Use of psychofarma; 4. Chronic use of analgetics; 5. Use of NSAIDs shorter than 5 days before operation.

The primary endpoint is physical function measured with the SF-36 questionnaire one week after kidney donation.	—
