Brief summary

This study was conducted to compare the effects of a 12-week 16:8 Time-Restricted Feeding (Intermittent Fasting) + home-based exercise protocol with and a calorie-restricted Standard Diet (SD) + home-based exercise protocol on body composition, lipid profile, glycemic control, and liver function enzyme levels in obese women.

OTHER16:8 Time-Restricted Feeding and Exercise

Participants followed a 16:8 time-restricted feeding protocol (fasting for 16 hours and consuming all daily caloric intake within an 8-hour window) combined with a structured home-based exercise program for 12 weeks.

OTHERStandart Diet and Exercise

Participants followed a standard energy-restricted diet distributed across regular daily meals combined with a structured home-based exercise program for 12 weeks

Inclusion criteria

1. Body Mass Index between 30 and 40 2. Female 3. Agreeing to adhere to a calorie-restricted diet 4. Agreeing to adhere to an exercise program

Exclusion criteria

1. Having cancer, diabetes, or thyroid disease 2. Having received assistance with weight loss in the last 3 months 3. Inability to adhere to calorie restriction 4. Failure to adhere to an exercise program
