Brief summary

Exam stress significantly affects the mental health and cognitive functions of nursing students. Audio-hypnosis offers a practical and low-cost intervention. Objective: To evaluate the effect of a single audio-hypnosis session on perceived stress, heart rate, and academic results. Methods: A pilot randomized trial will be conducted with 20 second-year students at ISPITS Safi, divided into an intervention group and a control group (n=10 each). Anxiety (VAS), heart rate (HR), and exam grades were analyzed.

Detailed description

objectives: Evaluate the effect of audio-hypnosis on stress levels and academic performance among nursing students at ISPITS in Safi. * Measure the stress level of nursing students before the audio-hypnosis intervention. * Assess the stress level of nursing students after the audio-hypnosis intervention. * Compare the level of stress before and after exposure to audio-hypnosis. * Determine the effect of audio-hypnosis on the academic performance of nursing students. * Analyze the relationship between stress levels and academic performance among nursing students. * Assess students' acceptability and satisfaction with the use of audio-hypnosis as a stress management method. 3\. Type of study: This is a pilot study in the form of a randomized controlled trial that aims to measure the impact of audio-hypnosis on stress and academic outcomes among nursing students at ISPITS de Safi. This methodological choice is justified by several considerations: First, the randomized controlled trial is considered to be the most rigorous method of evaluating the effectiveness of an intervention, as it allows for comparison of results between an experimental group and a control group. Secondly, the randomization of participants helps to ensure comparability between groups. Thirdly, the use of a pilot study is relevant for this research, as it allows us to assess the feasibility of audio-visual interventionhypnosis, its acceptability by nursing students as well as the practical aspects of its implementation in the context of ISPITS in Safi. Finally, this approach will provide preliminary data on the effect of audio-hypnosis on stress and academic performance, which can form the basis for further research on a larger scale.

Intervention model description

We are going to implement an experimental intervention through audio-hypnosis sessions for participating nursing students. Before the exam, participants in the audio-hypnosis group will undergo an audio-hypnosis session in a soothing setting to encourage relaxation and stress control. We will assesssame parameters in both groups in parallel.

Inclusion criteria

* Students enrolled in the first year of nursing training at the Higher Institute of Nursing and Health Technician Professions in Safi. * Volunteer students who have agreed to participate in the study and signed a free and informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

* Students who refuse to participate or do not sign consent. * Students who have already undergone a hypnosis session themselves. * Students with known psychological disorders. * Students with epilepsy or a history of seizures.
