Cannabis Use

Brief summary

This study is being completed to test a method to promote patient-centered outcomes among people who use cannabis behaviors.

Interventions

BEHAVIORALMotivational and Behavioral Economics Informed Intervention

6 session telemedicine-delivered intervention with coaching sessions and small incentives for activity engagement.

Inclusion criteria

* current cannabis use disorder * active cannabis use, * camera/technology/phone access * able to give informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

* inability to speak English * conditions precluding informed consent, full participation, or understanding of interventions/assessments * past 90-day cannabis use disorder/substance use disorder treatment * current cancer treatment * medical cannabis certification for current cancer, end-of-life care, or progressive debilitating disease * active moderate/severe other substance use disorder(s) or injection drug use

Cannabis use disorder symptoms	3-, 6-, 12-months	Change in cannabis use disorder symptoms measured by the Diagnostic \& Statistical Manual-5 checklist where higher scores indicate a worse outcome (0 min score, 11 max score)
Depressive symptoms	3-, 6-, 12-months	Change in depression symptom severity as measured by Patient Health Questionnaire-where higher scores indicate a worse outcome (min score = 0, max score = 24)
Anxiety symptoms	3-, 6-, 12-months	Change in anxiety symptom severity as measured by Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 questionnaire where higher scores indicate a worse outcome (min score = 0, max score = 21)
