Brief summary
After teeth extraction and over years of removable denture wearing, atrophy of residual alveolar ridges progresses. The lower complete denture is the most problem issue in oral cavity due to bone loss and presence of the tongue, which is the most movable part in the oral cavity, this condition resulting in a lack of retention, stability, and support of the dentures, which directly affect the patient's confidence, function, comfort and bring a major challenge for prosthodontics
Interventions
Two (regular and narrow) dental implants will be placed in the canine region of the edentulous mandible according to surgical protocols, its 7 accurate position will be determined as relates to the vital structures by the cone beam radiograph.

Inclusion criteria
. All patients should be free from any systemic diseases that might affect the bone quality or post-operative healing. * Completely edentulous patients with their age range from 55 to 65 years * All patients have Angle's Class I maxillomandibular relationship * Normal facial symmetry with no signs and symptoms of temporomandibular disorders. * Cooperative patients * Adequate inter-arch space. * All patients have recent and old extractions ,a period of at least 6 months from the date of last extraction. * All patients have lower arch with irregular buccolingual thickness . * Edentulous ridge covered by healthy firm mucoperiosteum, without abnormal morphology. * Normal tongue size. * All the selected patients should be free from any oral pathological lesions such as cysts, remaining root, or residual infection.
Exclusion criteria
General health conditions preclude a minor surgical intervention, risk patients are excluded. * Local anesthesia with a vasoconstrictor is contraindicated * Immunosuppressive therapy, prolonged intake of antibiotics or corticosteroids, or brittle metabolic disease history.
