Conditions

Athlete, Healthy Adult

Brief summary

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of an acute aerobic exercise on irisin, klotho, sirtuin-1, and BDNF levels in the healthy adults. The findings will help understand the physiological impacts of exercise on these biomarkers.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frameDescription
Salivary Irisin LevelBaseline- immediately after exercise and 1 hours after exerciseIrisin concentration will be determined from a saliva sample using the ELISA technique.
Salivary Klotho LevelBaseline- immediately after exercise and 1 hours after exerciseKlotho concentration will be determined from a saliva sample using the ELISA technique.
Salivary Sirtuin LevelBaseline- immediately after exercise and 1 hours after exerciseSirtuin concentration will be determined from a saliva sample using the ELISA technique.
Salivary BDNF LevelBaseline- immediately after exercise and 1 hours after exerciseBDNF concentration will be determined from a saliva sample using the ELISA technique.

Secondary

MeasureTime frameDescription
Saliva Flow RateBaseline- İmmediately after exercise and 1 hour after exerciseIt will be calculated individually by dividing the weight of the saliva collected within one minute by the duration.
