Detailed description
This is a prospective, single-group, quasi-experimental study evaluating a structured training program on port catheter care and management for nurses. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a structured educational intervention designed to improve nurses' knowledge regarding port catheter care and management. The intervention consists of theoretical education and practical demonstration covering port catheter indications, care procedures, maintenance, complication prevention, and management. Eligible nurses working in the participating institution will be invited to participate after providing informed consent. Data will be collected at three predefined time points: before the training (baseline), immediately after completion of the training, 30 days after completion of the training. Participants' knowledge will be assessed using the Port Catheter Care Knowledge Test developed by the research team. The study is expected to provide evidence regarding the implementation of structured educational programs on port catheter care among nurses.

BEHAVIORALPort Catheter Care Training
This educational intervention aims to improve nurses' knowledge and skills in port catheter care. The training includes theoretical and practical sessions on port catheter insertion, maintenance, and nursing responsibilities. Participants complete a pre-test, a post-test, and a one-month follow-up test to evaluate knowledge retention and training effectiveness.

Inclusion criteria
* Nurses working in the internal medicine and oncology units of a Training and Research Hospital, * 18 years of age and older, * Actively involved in care processes related to port catheterization, * Voluntarily agreeing to participate in the research, * Participating in the entire training program and completing all evaluation stages (pre-test, post-test, 30-day evaluation).
Exclusion criteria
* Nurses who were unable to participate in the research due to leave, sick leave, or temporary assignments, * Nurses who did not attend the entire training program or who failed to complete any assessment phase (pre-test, post-test, 30-day assessment), * Nurses working in units not directly related to port catheterization.
