Intervention model description

This is a split-mouth clinical trial. Each participant receives both restoration types simultaneously on the same side: multilayer zirconia in one arch (maxillary or mandibular) and feldspathic veneered zirconia in the opposing arch, assigned randomly.

Inclusion criteria

1. Age \> 18 years old. 2. Participants required crowns with proper endodontic treatment. 3. Participants with stable normal occlusion. 4. Khat chewer. 5. Participants required crowns for posterior teeth (premolar and molar) in the side of khat chewing. 6. Participants with extensive decay, cracks, or large restorations that necessitate a crown. 7. Participants wishing to improve the appearance of discolored or damaged teeth may be suitable candidates for crowns. 8. Good oral hygiene. 9. Availability for follow-up

Exclusion criteria

1. Participants with high caries index. 2. Participants with parafunctional habits as clenching/bruxism. 3. Severe periodontal disease. 4. Participants not indicated for crowns. 5. Allergy to materials.
