Brief summary

The study is randomized and single-blinded. Ethical approval is taken from ethical committee of Riphah International University, Lahore. Participants who meet the inclusion criteria will be enrolled and allocated in group A & B through sealed envelope method by Non-probability Convenient random sampling technique. Subjects in Group A will receive variable resistance training. Group B will receive clubbel exercises.

Detailed description

This study will be a randomized clinical trial duration of study will be 10 months. Data will be collected by convenient sampling technique from Pakistan cricket board. Three outcome measures will be compared by using different tools strength is measured by seated medicine ball throw, stability is measured by CKCUEST and Coordination is measured by plate tapping test test .pre and post assessment is done Participants are divided into two groups group A undergoes variable resistance exercise , group B undergoes clubbel exercises observed values will be analyzed by using SPSS 27 software

Interventions

Group A received VRT (Variable resistance training) duration was 8 weeks and involved 3 days/week, 20 min/day. The ROM and muscle strength were assessed at baseline and at the end of weeks 8th week.

OTHERClubbell exercises

Group B received clubbell exercises duration was 8 weeks and involved 3 days/week, 20 min/day. The ROM and muscle strength were assessed at baseline and at the end of weeks 8th week.

Inclusion criteria

* Participants of both genders aged 18-25 years who were active recreational badminton players were included in the study. Eligible participants had been playing badminton regularly for more than one year, had a Body Mass Index (BMI) within the normal range (18.5-24.9 kg/m²), and were competing at the senior club level

Exclusion criteria

* Participants were excluded if they had experienced shoulder pain within the previous year, demonstrated excessive shoulder laxity as determined by the apprehension, relocation, and release tests, or showed any signs of neuropathy. Individuals with a history of shoulder surgery or any injury within the past three months that had required cessation of badminton practice were also excluded from the study
