Brief summary
The present study aims to investigate the effects of the 10-Series of Structural Integration on chest wall expansion in patients with stable COPD using a randomized controlled trial design. Participants receiving Structural Integration in addition to conventional pulmonary rehabilitation will be compared with those receiving conventional pulmonary rehabilitation alone. Chest wall expansion will serve as the primary outcome, while pulmonary function, dyspnea, functional exercise capacity, and quality of life may be evaluated as secondary outcomes.
Interventions
* Conventional pulmonary rehabilitation. * The complete 10-Series of Structural Integration, delivered by a certified Structural Integration practitioner/physiotherapist.
Participants receive only the conventional pulmonary rehabilitation program.

Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Chest Wall Expansion | Before the start and end of 10 weeks | Chest wall expansion will be measured using a flexible measuring tape at: * Axillary level * Xiphoid level * Lower thoracic level (10th rib) Measurements will be taken during maximal inspiration and maximal expiration. The difference (in centimeters) will be recorded. Three readings will be obtained at each level, and the average value will be used for analysis. |
