Detailed description
This study will analyze anonymized cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images obtained from a Polish dental imaging facility. Only scans previously acquired for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes and meeting predefined image quality criteria will be included. The study will investigate the anatomical characteristics of the alveolar antral artery canal, including its course and intra-sinus trajectory, and evaluate different CBCT-based methods for canal identification and mapping. Anatomical variations and the diagnostic performance of the evaluated imaging methods will be assessed using appropriate statistical analyses. The results are expected to provide a comprehensive characterization of the alveolar antral artery canal and support improvements in preoperative imaging assessment and surgical planning.

Inclusion criteria
* CBCT scans acquired following a written referral from a physician or dentist. * Complete visualization of the alveolar antral artery canal and the maxillary sinus region. * Sufficient image quality to allow reliable anatomical assessment.
Exclusion criteria
* CBCT scans with significant imaging artefacts affecting visualization of the alveolar antral artery canal. * Previous surgical procedures or pathological lesions in the region of interest that preclude reliable anatomical assessment. * Incomplete visualization of the region of interest.
