Detailed description

post endodontic pain is very common and it effect the quality of life of patients. piroxicam reduces the perception of pain . it is usually prescribe as oral medication but out study evaluate the effect of intra-ligamentary use of piroxicam to reduce post procedure pain.

Inclusion criteria

* Patient diagnosed with irreversible pulpitis * Patient have Tooth pain before Root canal treatment

Exclusion criteria

* Patient already treated with root canal * Necrotic Tooth

pain intensity12, 24,48 hoursPain intensity will be measured by Visual Analogue scale(VAS). Patient will advised to rate there pain intensity from 0 to 10 after 12 hours, 24 and 48 hours. So both groups patient will record there pain in number and report to dentist in follow-up visit.
