Detailed description

Sixty chronic kidney disease patients, Measurement of bone turnover markers done prior to the study and at the end of the study after 6 months. Participants included in two groups. Group (A) received resisted exercise training on some resistance machines where; group (B) received treadmill exercise training.

Interventions

OTHERresisted exercise training on some resistance machines

resistance exercises on some resistance machines, 3 sessions of exercise training /week

treadmill aerobic exercise (intensity equal 60-80 % of each individual maximum heart rate)

Inclusion criteria

* Non-smokers, * no alcohol consumption * no intake of hormone replacement therapy * mass index ranged from 20-24 kg/m2.

Exclusion criteria

* diabetes disorders * hypertension disorders * cardiac disorders * musculoskeletal disorders * endocrine disorders * intake of medications that may affect bone metabolism.
