Brief summary

The aim of the study is to determine the prevalence of foot deformities among adolescents and associated factors such as age, sex, and pain. This includes identifying the types and degrees of deformities present, assessing their impact on adolescents' health, and examining how these deformities may influence daily activities

Detailed description

Foot deformities are common musculoskeletal conditions affecting children and adolescents worldwide, with a wide range of causes and clinical presentations. These deformities can result from congenital abnormalities, developmental changes, trauma, neuromuscular disorders, or secondary complications of systemic diseases such as diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis(1,2). Flatfoot, hallux valgus, pes cavus, and clubfoot are among the most frequently encountered types, each with distinct etiologies and clinical features Data will be collected by self-administered structured questionnaire. The aim of the study and the way of filling the questionnaire will be explained in each classroom to the students, and then he fills the questionnaire by himself.

Inclusion criteria

* Adolescents aged 12-18 years. * Willingness to participate and provide informed consent (from both the participant and guardian). * Ability to stand and walk without assistance for the physical examination.

Exclusion criteria

* Adolescents with a history of major lower limb surgery or amputation. * Those with severe neurological disorders affecting gait or foot structure (e.g., cerebral palsy, spina bifida). * Individuals unable to cooperate with the examination due to cognitive or psychiatric disorders. * Presence of acute foot trauma or infection at the time of assessment.
