Inclusion criteria
* Participants of both genders were included if they were aged 30-60 years, * body mass index (BMI) ≥30 kg/m², * Individuals with HbA1c levels ranging from 5.7% to 10% were selected, .indicating pre-diabetic to diabetic status. Participants were required to have a .body mass index (BMI) of 25 kg/m² or higher
Exclusion criteria
* Participants who were diagnosed with type 1, pregnant or lactating, * chronic liver, kidney, or cardiovascular disease, * history of hepatotoxicity or gastrointestinal disorders, * using weight-loss supplements, steroids, or lipid-lowering drugs, or had a known allergy to Garcinia cambogia
