Excessive use characterized by loss of sense of time. Nomophobia-an abbreviation of no-mobile-phone-phobia-is also called cell phone addiction. Symptoms include: Experiencing anxiety or panic over losing your phone. Obsessively checking for missed calls, emails, and texts.
