Inclusion criteria

* hypotension * oliguria * high lactate level

Exclusion criteria

* cardiac arrhythmia * clinically relevant tricuspid or mitral regurgitation, clinically relevant right heart failure * thrombosis in any large upper body veins * bilaterally inserted venous catheters
