Inclusion criteria
* DSM-IV-TR major depressive disorder * aged between 20 and 80 * durg-naive or drug-free
Exclusion criteria
* DSM-IV-TR substance-related disorders (except nicotine) * significant medical or neurological conditions * mental retardation or organic brain damage
