* age \> 18 * obesity (Body Mass Index \> 30) * ASA classificazion \< 4 * candidate to bariatric surgery
Exclusion criteria
* known or presumed pregnancy * previous surgery on the airway, esophagus or stomach * uncontrolled psychiatric symptomatology
