* Male or nonpregnant female * Coronary patient hospitalised for elective PCI * Hypercholesterolaemia defined as LDL-C ≥ 2 mmol/L

Exclusion criteria

* Any chronic inflammatory condition * Chronic anti-inflammatory pharmacotherapy (except low-dose ASA)
