Inclusion criteria
* patients with advanced bilateral osteoarthritis of the knee for treatment with total knee arthroplasty * patients who wish to undergo bilateral total knee arthroplasty as part of a single surgical procedure
Exclusion criteria
* patients who were previously treated with knee arthroplasty
