* Adult patients undergoing pars plana vitrectomy under local anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

* Patients allergic to local anesthetic solutions * With local sepsis * Serious impairment of coagulation * Orbital abnormalities * Unable to cooperate in maintaining a relatively motionless supine position * Who refused the anesthetic technique
