Inclusion Criteria: * Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients on metformin monotherapy * 7% ≤ HbA1c ≤ 12% * 20 kg/m² ≤BMI ≤ 35 kg/m² * Diabetes duration: at least 6 months
