* Pathologically proven carcinoma of the head of pancreas or other periampullary carcinoma treated by pancreaticoduodenectomy.

Exclusion criteria

* Patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy for other indications (i.e. trauma) * Charts not available for review.
